Bimini Top, Precision 23
The unit is based on a standard dodger made by Genco for the
P-23, with the addition of a custom bimini designed by me together with Nat
Genco. The rear bow of the bimini drops inside the pushpit, and the bimini can
be unzipped on either or both sides for partial/full detachment from the
dodger. I normally leave the unit up all summer, and it has stood up to some
pretty solid blows. The front panel of the dodger unzips and is normally thrown
up on top of the dodger for fair weather sailing, ie little frontal air
resistance.
